Improved Supplier Management

Bartender allows you to collate and analyse your supplier or subcontractor data.

  • The new easy to sort and filter supplier page lists all the subcontractors used by your company and allows you to create new suppliers before having to having to supply a quote to them.
  • In addition to this, a new supplier detail page allows more information to be added on subcontractors like a business number, the sub-contractor address, a description and a rating (like or dislike).
  • The detail page allows you to associate trades with each supplier from a drop-down list of possible trades.
  • A contact person can be assigned on the detail page so that specific quotes can be linked to a particular contact.
  • Interactions with suppliers can be tracked and information on any particular supplier or subcontractor can be viewed by your own jobs in progress, company jobs in progress or all jobs.
  • Each of the jobs displayed on the Detail Page and the job information is linked to the job, so you can go to the specific Trade Package directly to see the details of that quote.

Teams Feature

Teams were introduced to ensure that the right information is shared with the right people for every job. Teams also were introduced for information control to exclude people that do not need visibility to sensitive information.

  • Better control over what information is shared within the company.
  • Teams can be defined according to the job needs and staff can be assigned to the teams. Access then can be restricted according to the to the needs of the team, allowing the job owner to allow or restrict access to certain jobs to ensure that the right people have visibility to the right information.
  • More control over your Job sharing ensures that you can see who owns a particular job, who it’s shared with and you can share it with additional people or teams if you wish.

Quote Management

Continuing the Buildsoft objective of giving you more control over your quotes, Version 1.3 gives you the ability to re-organise quotes within trade packages.

  • Simple drag-and-drop functionality allows you to re-organise your quotes and list these in a way that works best for you.

New Shortcut Keys

The addition of new shortcut keys allows you to work more efficiently.

Job Totals Update

Based on feedback from our users, we have given you more control over the way that Bartender displaysTotals from the Job Review page

  • You can estimate totals without having to first pick quotes. This brings better insight into the total cost of the job.
  • This option is also provided in any reports generated from Bartender.
