Improvements

  • The dashed line merger has been enhanced to better manage separate lines with a common junction.
    • Some PDF files contain dashed lines that can sometimes appear as solid lines. The dashed line transmute tool has been improved to work better in this situation and will also attempt to correct reversed lines when two lines touch in opposition directions.
  • Error reporting relating to boundaries that are rebuilt on import has been improved.
    • On rare occasions, boundary lines need to be rebuilt when opening a project. The error reporting on this has been improved to provide a clearer message if this occurs.
  • Label colours will now match the colour of the entity being labelled.
  • Labels on structures will now show the boundary name and altitude if the structure is flat.
  • Curve editing speed has been improved.
    • In projects with large data sets and/or many drawings, curve editing should be much faster.
  • Spot elevation transmuting has been improved to handle a larger number of block references.
  • DWG plan scaling has been improved to use DWG extents if they are present.
  • The remote support tool has been updated.
  • DWG reading has been improved to process and match older later/material naming.
    • For some older DWG files, they were read by MudShark but they were not displayed due to a clash in the materials and layers. These should display correctly now.
  • Font mapping in PDFs has been improved.
    • Fonts in PDFs should now be clearer and more accurately sized to the original PDF.
  • The efficiency of label generation has been improved.
    • On some large projects label generation could take a long time which impacted the speed of certain operations. This has been improved so that overall there is an speed increase.
  • Background saving speed has been improved.

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where structure labels would disappearing after calculating a project.
  • Fixed an issue where sometimes a mesh overlay check would fail during calculation.
  • Fixed an issue where bore holes with undefined altitudes located outside the working area would sometimes not be calculated.
  • Fixed an issue where scaling multiline texts in DWF files were not scaling correctly and the text would be unclear.
  • The boring log dialogue should now appear fasting when allocating locations.
  • Fixed an issue where sometimes spots were transmuted off the TIN incorrectly.
  • Fixed an issue where very wide trenches would fail to calculate when no pipe was present.
