Improvements & Fixes
New Features – Overview Video
- When you calculate, a project summary will now appear which allows the user to verify that the scaling and altitude values look correct prior to calculation.
- You can now hold the P key down while you are moving a point which will maintain the plan of a surface if it’s a planar surface.
Enhancements
- PDF reading improvements.
- The speed of PDF reading has been improved when the PDF contains unstructured font mappings.
- Mapping of fonts and font sizes has been improved.
- Hidden text will now be accounted for when mapping.
- The warning message has been modified to indicate to the user if the PDF only contains an image or a mixture of images and vector data.
- Improved speed of processing with image sorting when many image based pdf plans are in the project.
- Improved dashed curve transmuting
- The dashed line transmuting algorithm has been improved to work on a wider range of dashed line situations.
- Transmuting has been improved to reduce the chances of transmuting duplicates accidentally.
- DWG file export has been improved to export composite lines instead of individual segments of the line.
- Heat-maps have been improved and now project into 3D using the depth of the cut or fill as the altitude.
Fixes
- When fonts are scaled in the monitor settings clicking on the curve editing indicators caused Windows to incorrectly tell MudShark to automatically resize to a smaller window.
- Boundary curve editing would sometimes incorrectly reported that it was unable to form a surface mesh.
- Measurement and Trench results would sometimes not refresh in the results grid when the values were changed or modified until a manual refresh was done.
- Undoing merge areas would sometimes crash the program.
- Trench option to “extend to structure” not always visible in the GUI.
- Adding points to curves sometimes caused an exception error message.
